Home Sweet Home was founded as a favor to a friend who needed pet care and dog daycare for her dog while she was away. From there, word grew. We believe that pets deserve to be in a loving family home (with a fenced-in yard for romping and ball catching!) while you're away. They're happy — and you can go away with peace of mind. No chaotic kennels. Just personalized care — and lots of petting!

Pet lover (and dog whisperer) Valerie Latona founded this company with one goal in mind: give pets (dogs, cats, turtles, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, birds, you name it) the personalized care they deserve. Valerie has been a mom to cats (and foster kittens), dogs, hamsters, a mouse (Mister Mouse), and fish. Our team is made up of pet lovers who treat all pets with love and respect.
